When you spend a big part of your working life styling venues for events such as children’s birthday parties, afternoon birthday celebrations, christenings, baby showers and hen parties and so much more – it just makes sense to have your own venue!

Kelly and the team at Touch of Charm Wedding & Event Decor had a vision of how they wanted the hall to look right from the start – the hall is decorated in neutral colours that work for every event. They can then tailor the interior to perfectly match our event style and colour scheme, with access to a wide array of different decoration.

Another part of the group of businesses, Flowers By Touch Of Charm, will also provide the most stunning flower arrangements for any occasion, and One Stop Party Shop means really have got every base covered to make your event something people will not just remember, but talk about for years to come!

About Kelly

Welcome! I’m Kelly – I still can’t actually believe I own Teversal Village Hall! I practically grew up in this hall – attending regular Sunday School and Brownies here. I came to craft fayres, cake sales and everything else with my mum and my grammar Olive.

I have firm roots in Teversal, so when this opportunity came my way, I couldn’t grasp it quick enough! Most of the men in my life worked at the local Silverhill Colliery until it closed – it meant so much to us, our logo includes a little nod to the colliery!

My husband Craig also helps me run the venue, mostly doing what I tell him to do – with only a little complaining!

So what to tell you about me? Firstly, I run Touch of Charm Wedding & Event Decor – our first shop was up the road in Stanton Hill back in 2017. We’ve since moved to an ever-growing unit in Mansfield Woodhouse. We also run Touch of Charm flower shop, specialising in Weddings and Funerals, and One Stop Party Shop. We’ve also brought this experience in to Teversal, opening Touch of Charm at Teversal at the front of the hall!
