Thank you for booking Teversal Village Hall for your event. Please find everything you need to know for the day below. You should also receive an email from us with this information.

Getting In

  • Key safe is on the right-hand side of the building, towards the shed, under the window (not the one near the decorative bath).
  • Key safe code: 1210
  • Please return the key to the safe after locking up.

Parking

  • Parking in The Canarvon pub car park is not permitted
  • On-street parking is available outside the hall - what3words: Sizes.Events.Chair
  • Silverhill Lane is a one-minute walk away as an alternative

Capacity

  • Ideal capacity: 40 people
  • Absolute maximum: 50 seated - please factor this in when planning backdrops, DJ setup, etc.

Music & AV

  • A PA system is available, located above the wicker screen in the corner of the room

  • The plug to switch it on is to the left of the screen

  • Connect via Bluetooth by pressing and holding the pairing button on the system

  • Please download your playlist in advance, as the internet signal can be intermittent

Heating & Air Con

  • Heating control panel is in the kitchen, on the left-hand wall as you walk in

  • Please turn heating off before you leave

  • Air con is fine to use, but must be turned off as you leave

Lighting

  • Two plugs for the twinkle lights: one at the bottom of the room near the speaker, the other near the fire exit

Catering

  • Complimentary tea and coffee provided

  • Please bring your own milk

  • 40 sets of cups, glasses, cutlery, plates and bowls are available - these need washing and putting away after use

Leaving the Hall

  • Turn off all sockets in the main room and any kitchen appliances used

  • Remove all rubbish, wipe surfaces and hoover the floor, leaving it as you found it

  • Please bring black bin liners to take your rubbish away with you (a charge applies if rubbish is left)

Smoking Policy

  • No smoking or vaping on the premises

  • A cigarette bin is located next to the bus stop at the front of the hall on the main road

 

A member of the team will contact you two weeks before the party to confirm colour scheme, décor choices and number of tables and chairs required.
